Intro:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

A relay competition for Tandem (2 people), small Teams (3 – 10 people) or large Teams (over 10 people) on one C2-ergometer<\/strong> – that has not happened yet in Austria, that’s what the Ergo-Challenge platform is for.  Find your team – men, women, mixed – and off you go.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Event:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a relay competition, the teams try to cover a given distance or given time as quickly as possible on a single Concept2 ergometer.  Men, women and mixed teams of all classes are eligible to start.  It is possible for individual athletes to start multiple times in different teams.  A mixed team must consist of half women and half men. The female participants of the mixed team must cover at least one third of the required distance or time.  The youngest team member is accoutable for the category (according to Concept2).  However, for the U19 Team, all members must be under 19 years of age.  Except for the team members, no one is allowed to provide assistance to the team.  A team captain to be named, who can also be a participant, is responsible for the compliance with the rules.  As for all Challenge competitions, trust is paramount. All competitions are held exclusively on Concept2 (Model B-E) rowing ergometers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a round-the-year competition!<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Possible sessions: 60 minutes or 24 hours; 10,000 meters, 21,097 meters, 42,185 meters or 100,000 meters<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To be included in the ranking, I need names of team members and birth year, team name, and a photo of the monitor.  Transmission of data by e-mail to office@ergochallenge.at<\/a>. Trust is in the paramount.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ranking of individual starters is done according with the Concept2 age classification.
